(SARALAND, Ala.) June 5 - The Saraland School Board has narrowed it's choice of candidates to take the superintendent position to two men, and their interviews will be open to the public.
The school board announced Thursday that Lawrence Vickers and Danny Weeks are the two finalists vying to become superintendent.
Friday, the school board announced that the public will be welcomed to sit in on the interviews.
Vickers will be the first candidate interviewed for the job. His interview is scheduled for 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Saraland Chamber of Commerce.
Vickers is the superintendent of Demopolis City Schools.
Saraland schools have been searching for a new superintendent since it's first superintendent, David Stiles, died suddenly in September.
