MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) More than 200 folks showed up Saturday to protest against the Mobile County Animal Shelter.
Protestors passed out awareness pamphlets and held signs for at Airport Boulevard and Schillinger Road.
Event organizers say they hope for reform and an investigation into MCAS.
49 dogs were euthanized Monday at the animal shelter.
Shelter officials said the animals were at risk to catch distemper, a potentially deadly disease.
