Project Rebound Closing Overnight, Weekend Call Centers

(MOBILE, Ala.) Project Rebound, a non-profit organization assisting Gulf Coast residents deal with issues related to the oil spill are closing down its overnight and weekend call centers starting Monday, Dec. 17.

Project Rebound will continue to offer counseling and resources for residents of Baldwin and Mobile counties through 2013. The organization will continue to take calls to its 1-800-639-REBOUND (7326) number during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays and will return overnight and weekend messages during the next business day.

In an emergency, overnight and weekend calls relating to a mental health crisis will be directed to AltaPointe in Mobile and the Baldwin County Mental Health Center in Baldwin County.
