PRICHARD, Ala. (WPMI) - Folks in Prichard gathered for a community meeting Friday night, in part to discuss the controversy between Mayor Troy Ephriam and police Chief Jimmie Gardner.
This week, a judge granted a restraining order against Gardner after the chief refused to leave his office despite receiving a termination letter.
Next week, a Mobile County Judge is scheduled to rule whether the chief was properly fired.
