(PRICHARD, Ala.) July 3 - Prichard police are searching for a suspect they say shot and killed a man Thursday afternoon.

Prichard police say William "Red" Kidd, 24, shot a 20-year-old man on North Joseph Avenue. Police say the victim was taken to the hospital before succumbing to his injuries.

Authorities say Kidd was last seen driving a small burgundy vehicle and should be considered armed and dangerous.
