Police: Woman Robbed at Front Door

MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) Mobile Police are searching for a man accused of robbing a woman at her front door.

It happened around 11 p.m. Thursday night on Bay Avenue.

The victim told police a man with a gun came from the side of the house while she was trying to unlock her front door. The woman said the suspect took her backpack that had her wallet and cell phone in it, and took off.

Why is it that you keep leaving the most important part of a story out when you report these kind of crimes? I don't care if the suspect was white, green, black, or yellow. Don't you think that is is in the publics' best interest to be given a description of the suspect as you call them? I'm sure it helps the police in their effort to locate the suspect so why is the public left in the dark??? Do you not care??? Why give a half-assed story if you're going to do it at all??? If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right! Again, pathetic reporting to say the least!!!
