FAIRHOPE, Ala. (WPMI) Fairhope Police say a woman reported missing on an afternoon walk and later found at a church, had fallen and injured herself.

Police say 49-year-old Paige Roe had injuries to her head, shoulder and knee.

Officials say Roe left a note Saturday afternoon, telling her family she was going for a walk, but she never came home.

She lives in the area of South Mobile Street.

She was found alive in the Trinity Presbyterian Church parking lot Sunday morning. That area had been searched several times earlier in the day.

Roe is recovering at Thomas Hospital.
