(ATMORE, Ala.) June 9 - Police say a man has confessed to robbing women in Alabama and Florida.

Jeffrey Daniel Gentry, 29, of Atmore, Alabama, was arrested and charged with robbing a woman in Atmore last week.

Authorities in Escambia County, Florida, are in the process of charging Gentry with the robbery of another woman in Walnut Hill, Florida. Police say Gentry confessed to both crimes.
