(PRICHARD, Ala.) July 10 -- William Kidd is wanted for three shootings in Prichard that left one man dead and another paralyzed. Now police say they aren't just looking for Kidd, but also his cohort.

Tony Overstreet is also wanted on several warrants out of Mobile and Prichard. Police say the two have been seen together around town.  Friday, Prichard Police set up a special operation in hopes of finding both Kidd and Overstreet.

Five area agencies have hit the streets with a single purpose, "to find Mr. Kidd and bring him to justice," Prichard Police Chief Lawrence Battiste said.

He and his cohort are still in town and considered armed and dangerous. Their arrest is the first priority of five local law enforcement agencies.

Friday, they stepped up the hunt. Law enforcement agencies set up a perimeter in the part of Prichard the pair have been frequenting, according to tips.

"We want to put pressure on Kidd, but also on the community to help us find him" Battiste said.
