MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) While the BCS game isn't until Monday, this weekend Kent State and Arkansas State face off in the GoDaddy.com Bowl in Mobile.
The game is Sunday at Ladd-Peebles Stadium. Tickets are still available.
Larry the Cable Guy and Danica Patrick are in town for a Mayor's Luncheon. Larry the Cable Guy is the keynote speaker.
Dozens packed into the luncheon Friday at the Convention Center. It wasn't just a luncheon, it was more like a pep rally, with fans, cheerleaders and band members.
"It's just like any other game you go in to. You do all the things you need to do to be successful. It's no different, we're going to block and tackle the same way and make sure you execute a little bit better. We're playing a good football team so that all matter," said Kent State head coach Darrell Hazell.
