MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) Thursday marks one year since four Coast Guard service members were killed on a training mission in Mobile Bay.
Petty Officer Fernando George, Lieutenant Commander Dale Taylor, Lieutenant JG Tom Cameron and Petty Officer Third Class Drew Knight were killed when their helicopter went down during a training mission.
The crash is still under investigation.
Friday, family members and friends will gather to remember the men in a memorial dedication. It is not open to the public.
