Octavia Dr. Shooting Suspect Out of Jail

well they forget to tell everone how much his bond was set for my guess would be 15 thousand or less which means he got out on 15 hundred or less if he went threw a bonding company . i have a friend who lost her mother from a women who went in her house and cut her moms throat well needless to say that person got out of jail on a 20 thousand bond ,she only had to come up with 2 thousand dollars for someones life when are the judges going to wake up and start doing there job i say raise all bonds

Of course he is out of jail! He probably was out of jail before the ink dried on his arrest papers and docket room paperwork. As I have been saying for years the judges, bonding companies and even the DA are all in on this corrupt system. It's all about money and the more money that can be made by bail bonding companies and court-appointed lawyers the better for the judges and DA's office. Here is what happens, the perp gets arrested and the he immediately calls a bonding company, the bonding company asked the perp of he has any money and/or property that he/she can use as collateral. The bonding companies accept anything of value, pets, cars, jewelry, electronics, etc and even stolen cash as bond. If none of that is available then the perp signs a promisary note and agrees to return to each court appearance. No matter how violent and vicious the crime is that the perp is charged with the bonding companies are eager and willing to front the money and sign the bond for the perp. I advocated to Ben Brooks who was recently elected as a judge to stop this revolving door corrupt system but it hasn't happened yet. The Judges appoint their friends that are lawyers as court-appointed representatives and the state reimburses the lawyers with taxpayers money. In return these selected lawyers make sure that the judes get campaign contributions and stay elected when each election occurs. It's all a rigged system and all the above are in on the scam and scheme. These people could care less how easily these dangerous criminals are released from jail and how quickly these perps repeat the exact same crimes they were arrested for. What it will take is for these perps to eventually target the Judges, people in the DA's Office, defense lawyers and bonding companies employees as their latest victims and then maybe things will change. Until then it's all about the money and how much each one can make off this corrupt criminal lenient system in Mobile County.
