(OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss.) - Local 15 News has learned two of the people injured in an accident on their way to a veterans parade in Midland, Texas Thursday are from Ocean Springs.

Four people were killed, dozens others were injured after a train slammed into their parade float.

Staff Sergeant Jonathan Rose suffered bruises. His wife Coleen had some broken bones.

Officials say the train did sound its horn as it approached the crossing, and the crossing light and gate were working at the time.

The idiot pulling the float should be brought up on manslaughter charges. Who pulls a float over a railroad crossing when a train is approaching? No way he\she couldn't have known they were in danger.
