MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) Some of the best talent in college football is in town with just a few days to prepare for the Senior Bowl.
The guys were given a Mardi Gras style welcome Sunday night. Players representing the North and South will go at it at Ladd-Peebles Stadium Saturday afternoon. But before that, they have to work out.
The first order of business Monday was the weigh in. All of the players weighed, measured arm length, wing span and hand size.
Nick Saban showed up to the South practice Monday. One of his players, D.J. Fluker, formerly a McGill-Toolen and Foley High schools, is on the Senior Bowl roster despite just playing three season for the Tide. Fluker has already graduated and is making the jump to the NFL.
