I am having a hard time figuring out why this was even a problem before. Garbage and trash trucks pick up in neighborhoods and areas where the roads are mostly if not all two lanes, the hehicles/cars are forced to move over into the opposite oncoming lanes or wait the truck out and follow it slowly to every stop or until it turns off the current street they're on. The move over law stemed from the Interstate fatalities of LEO being struck and killed while pulling over motorists etc. Have these morons even thought this out for 5 minutes? It doesn't make any logical sense. Basically they are telling motorists to cross the double yellow lines and take a chance on oncoming traffic hitting them head-on to get from behind trash trucks. Drug test the idiots that even suggested this proposed new law.

They've got to be kidding...garbage trucks? They've lost their minds, this has got to be the most ridiculous law ever. Oh that's right, this is Alabama!
