Murdered Victim's Famliy Speaks for First Time

(MOBILE, Ala.) June 25 -- The family of a man found murdered and dumped in local woods is speaking out.

22-year-old Jermaine Pettway's body was found Monday dumped in the woods near Highway 158 in Eight Mile.

Deputies say robbery may have been behind the murder.

Investigators also say Pettway had a criminal record which included drug arrests.

Pettway's family members are speaking out for the first time about the men accused of murdering Jermaine.

Jermaine's cousin Shaundra Pettway spoke with nbc 15 news. Shaundra says, " Our family is overwhelmed. We understand what he did was wrong all the way wrong we understand that but what they did to him the four of them it was brutal. So the only thing we ask is for justice to be served.

Three people have been arrested for Pettway's murder . A fourth suspect is on the run.
