MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) - A 16 year old girl was shot during a drive-by, the girl's mother told Local 15 news by phone Saturday night. It happened on Marcus St. around 6:30pm.
Mobile Police Spokesperson Cpl. Chris Levy would only confirm a girl had been shot in the foot.
The woman who called Local 15 said her daughter was hit in the leg. She also said someone could be heard saying, 'Shoot her! Shoot her!" just before the gunshots.
The girl was taken to USA Medical Center but was later released and is now recovering at home.
