MOSS POINT, Miss. (AP) - Police have arrested a Moss Point firefighter on a charge of grand larceny.

Police Chief Keith Davis tells The Sun Herald 26-year-old Sean Burdette, of D'Iberville, is accused of stealing a projector from the fire department.

Burdette was arrested Tuesday.

Davis says an investigation was launched after Fire Chief Clarence Parks reported the projector missing about four weeks ago.

He says police recovered the stolen projector, valued at more than $500, from Burdette's home in D'Iberville.

It was unclear whether Burdette has an attorney.
