(MOBILE, Ala.) Police are looking for the suspect who robbed a Mobile McDonald's location at gunpoint. It happened just before midnight Monday at the restaurant on Springdale Boulevard.
The suspect is described as a black male between 20 and 30, around 5'8", between 130 and 140 pounds and wearing a brown hooded jacket.
The incident happened at the Dauphin Street exit of I-65, the same exit where a man was shot to death outside a Taco Bell early Sunday morning.
"With the malls over here, we've got a lot of hotels in the area and the interstate right here, you get a lot of activity," says Ross Jacobs.
Jacobs has worked at a nearby business for several years. In that time there have been multiple shootings. Jacobs says you never know who's passing through.
"We see a lot of transients up here," he says. "A lot of guys up around the exit of the interstate and people around the Walmart area a lot."
Mobile Police say they have a few good leads in Sunday's shooting and they do not believe it is connected to Monday's robbery. If you know anything about either incident please call police.
