MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) - A Mobile man is now in custody charged in connection with two shootings Thursday night at Dog River Park, formerly known as Luscher Park.
Christopher Turner is charged with felony murder tonight.
A shooting call went out around 10:30 last night.
Police say the two victims were together at the park when the suspect approached them to rob them.
Investigators say Bernard Hall was found with a gunshot wound to the head. He died at the scene.
The second man was shot in the back and on the jaw. He was found on Bream Drive.
That second victim is being treated at U.S.A. Medical Center.
"Our detectives have worked all night and all day attempting to get this case solved so I applaud our homicide detectives for the fast work in solving this case,” says Mobile Police Chief Micheal T. Williams.
The investigation continues.
