MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) Students from all around Mobile County participated in a spelling bee Friday morning.
The Mobile County Public School System streamed the event on their website
Friday's winner was Mariam Hashmi from Mobile Christian School. The winning word was Bolshevik.
Mariam will now represent Mobile in the state spelling bee competition.
