(MOBILE, Ala.) Local 15 spoke to Mobile City Councilman Fred Richardson over the phone on Sunday while he was in Washington D.C. for the presidential inauguration.
He shared his thoughts on the president's inauguration happening on the same day we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Junior.
Richardson said, "What he did was took what should not be and made it possible, because if you look back it should not have been a way for this to happen but it did happen. And it's proof that God is alive and made this possible."
