(MOBILE, Ala.) Mobile Mayor Sam Jones and Alabama Governor Robert Bentley are in Hamburg, Germany this week.
The two are there for an Aerospace Conference attending a special panel presentation titled "Airbus in Mobile, Alabama: Global but Local".
Mayor Jones is expected to address the conference Tuesday. Bentley will speak Wednesday.
Aviation Forum 2012 features a who's who in the world of suppliers for the Aviation Industry.
Mayor Jones say recruiting suppliers to Mobile is priority No. 1.
"We're actually going to be talking about Mobile and what Mobile holds in terms of advantages for them to locate here. We'll talk about our history with internationally globalization and the success we've had in Mobile and the companies who are international corporations and the success the've had in Mobile," says Mayor Jones.
Mayor Jones said back in July that Airbus's announcement to come to Mobile was just the beginning when it comes to big economic news for Mobile.
Local 15 News has learned that another big announcement by the city is on the horizon, perhaps as early as next week.
