(MOBILE, Ala.) Nov. 15 - A man was robbed at gunpoint Saturday night inside his home on Cody Road after offering to help to men jump start their car.

"The thought went through I could die. I could actually get shot," David Espinosa said.

Saturday night, two men knocked on Espinosa's door. They said they were having car trouble down the street, but by the time he realized the men were after something else, it was too late. They had a gun.

"The other guy was like give me your phone. I don't have anything else the second gentlemen said shoot this," Espinosa said.

According to Espinosa, while one of the men kept his finger on the trigger, the other man grabbed his roommate's laptop. They also took his wallet and ran.

"I would have pretty much let them have whatever they wanted I had in the house just not to get shot," Espinosa said.

Espinosa said his house was also burglarized a few months ago, and neighbors said there have been five break-ins on the street in the last year.
