Man Wanted in Armed Robbery Surrenders

(MOBILE, Ala.) June 25 - A man wanted for holding up a Mobile-area convenience store at gunpoint turned himself in Thursday morning, online jail records showed.

James Rackley, 30, of 1705 Belfast Street, surrendered to the Mobile County Sheriff's Department around 9 a.m. and was charged with first degree robbery.

Police had named Rackley as one of two suspects in the robbery of a Mystick gas station on Highway 90 May 31. The other suspect, Quinten Garrett, 17, was arrested June 3.
