MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) Mobile Police arrested a man after he led them on a short chase.
Raymond Benjamin was arrested just before 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Police say an officer attempted to pull Benjamin over on Jay Drive. They say Benjamin jumped out of the car and took off. When police caught up with him, they found two clear baggies each filled with marijuana, a revolver, electronic scale, ballistic vest and more than $1,600.
Benjamin is charged with marijuana, possession of a drug paraphernalia, attempting to elude police and no pistol permit.
