ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WPMI) Deputies in Escambia County arrested a man they say stole a car, and had drugs in that stolen car.

Thirty-two-year-old Jason Claude Ward is charged with possession of a listed chemical with intent to manufacture a controlled substance, producing meth and trafficking meth over 14 grams. He is in jail on a $65,000 bond.

Deputies were called to a drugstore on North 9th Avenue around 6 a.m. Friday, on reports of suspicious vehicle. They found Ward in the car, along with items commonly used to make meth.

Officials say the car was reported stolen on March 9.
