Man Arrested in School Burglary
(PRICHARD, Ala.) June 25 - A man was arrested, accused of burglarizing a local school Thursday morning, Prichard Police said.
Police responded to a burglary alarm at Whitley Elementary School around 5:16 a.m. Thursday. Alvin Jordan, 27, was seen exiting the rear of the building, police said.
After a short foot chase, Jordon was arrested and charged with third degree burglary.
After the incident, it appeared that no items were missing from the school, police said. The investigation is ongoing.
