HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - Police in Huntsville say two men were injured by bullets after gunfire erupted at a house party.

Al.com reports that one of the injured men, 37-year-old William Robinson, was booked at the Madison County Metro Jail on charges of attempted murder after the Friday night shootings. It was not immediately known Saturday if he had an attorney.

A police report says Robinson was arrested after 27-year-old Darrin Fennel was shot multiple times during a confrontation at the party. The report says Fennel's injuries were considered life-threatening, but his condition at Huntsville Hospital was not immediately available Saturday.

Police say Robinson was also shot in the leg by a third person at the party. Investigators say they interviewed the man they believe shot Robinson and released him from custody.
