MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) Mobile Police say three suspects are behind bars for holding a man against his will and stealing his money.
Patrick Edwards, 28; Dewayne Andry, 27; and Exiomara Goins, 34 were arrested and charged with first-degree unlawful imprisonment. Edwards was additionally charged with five counts of fraudulent use of a credit card.
Police captured the trio Saturday, Feb. 23, when Edwards and Andry took the victim to a bank, forcing him to attempt to withdraw $500 from his already overdrawn account.
Authorities say the victim arrived in Mobile Tuesday, Feb. 19 at the Greyhound bus station and was coaxed by Exiomara Goins into going across the street to the Taylor Motel.
Once there, the victim was held against his will by Patrick Edwards and Dewayne Andry for several days.
The suspects then took the man to several ATMs all over the city to withdraw money.
Edwards used the victim's debit card between Feb.19 and Feb. 22.
