(MOBILE, Ala.)   Mobile Police are investigating after a man was hit by a vehicle early Saturday morning.

It happened at the intersection of North Jackson and St. Louis Streets.

Police officials say they got the call of one struck around 4:43 a.m. A 20-year-old male was found laying in the street, unconscious.

Officers say a preliminary investigation shows the victim was involved in a verbal dispute with the white male occupants of a black Chevy Tahoe.

According to police, the Tahoe struck the victim and was last seen traveling east on St. Michael Street. The vehicle is described as being an older Tahoe, possibly 1997-1999.

Officers are on the lookout for this vehicle.

The victim was transported to USA Medical Center and was last listed in critical condition.

This incident is still under investigation. If you have any information, call Mobile Police.

It can also be pointed out that every news outlet in Mobile area quickly identified by race the suspects/thugs that killed Wendy, the woman gunned down in the street after comfronting a speeder on Racine Drive recently... except Local-15 WPMI TV. I constantly have to adjust my color on my TV because this channel (Local-15) often times comes in way too dark.... wink wink :)

OK...so...if the occupants of a vehicle are white...you can say it...but if they are black you CAN'T? Wow...that's pretty messed up!
