MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) Mobile Police are searching for a suspect who lead officers on a short chase.
Officials say an officer initiated a traffic stop on Airport and I-65.
The suspect did not pull over, and a short pursuit ensued.
A gas station attendant said officers shot the tires of the suspect's vehicle.
Police say the driver abandoned the vehicle, and proceeded on foot in the area behind an abandoned hotel on I-65 service road.
