MPD Finalizes New Year's Eve Count

MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) Police are releasing their official crowd estimates for Mobile's New Year's Eve celebration.

After surveying the entire downtown area, police say close to 68,000 people attended the New Year's Eve activities.

Nearly 12,000 attended the parade.

Police responded to 20 complaints during the evening, and made seven misdemeanor arrests.
