(MOBILE, Ala.) The Mobile County Sheriff's Office is crediting a LOCAL 15 exclusive interview for helping them further their investigation.

We talked with a young man Wednesday night who admitted on camera that he ingested LSD with Collar the night Collar died.

Sheriff Sam Cochran and investigators were shocked to see our interview on the news last night with a 20-year-old freshman at South Alabama who admitted to Local 15 News on camera that he and five other students, including Gil Collar, were on LSD that fatal Friday night.

As soon as investigators saw our story, they did make arrangements to speak with the student. Investigators are trying to find out who provided Gil Collar with LSD. Cochran says that person could face murder charges. The sheriff would not confirm if investigators have talked to that student.

"there's one young man who admitted to being present to taking that LSD with this man, at least what they thought to be LSD," Cochran said. "I will tell you in my experiences, he acted in such a manner, that he was on LSD. He was certainly was a person of interested as are other people of interest to interview again to see what happened, where it happened, what transpired."
