Judge Throws Out Money Laundering Charges in BLB Mayor Trial

BAYOU LA BATRE, Ala. (WPMI) The three money laundering charges against Bayou la Batre Mayor Stan Wright have been thrown out.

Wright is on trial for a land swap deal following Hurricane Katrina. Wright is still facing four other charges, including conspiracy and intimating a witness.

Court broke Thursday afternoon around 5 p.m. It will resume Friday morning at 9.
