MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WPMI) A judge has postponed a decision until Wednesday afternoon on whether to continue to blocking Governor Bentley from signing the School Flexibility Bill into law.
The Alabama Education Association filed a temporary restraining order Tuesday. The delay is to allow the judge time to consider a motion to dismiss filed by the State Attorney General.
The bill would provide tax credits to parents who choose to send their children to private schools rather than failing public schools.
