Hundreds of Students Compete in Science Olympiad Held Saturday

MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI)  More than 400 students from across Mobile County participated in a science Olympiad Saturday.

The 4th annual Regional Science Olympiad was hosted by Spring Hill College.

Alabama middle and high schools competed in a series of events centered on science and technology.

Chevron Products Company and the Mobile Section of the American Chemical Society co-sponsored the tournament.

Faculty members and students from colleges in the area, as well as members of the scientific community served as judges.
