(MOBILE, Ala.) July 2 - Mobile police say they have taken more than $1,500 worth of drugs off city streets.
The Mobile Police Department says it executed a search warrant at a home on Pettus Street near Broad Street, arresting Jeffery Henry and Shanta Morris and finding more than a pound of Marijuana, $200 worth of codeine and two handguns inside the home.
Police say both are facing several charges including possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
