MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) If you're looking to paint the town green for St. Patrick's Day, you've got options.
Folks flocked downtown Mobile as early as 6 a.m. Sunday to O'Daly's Irish Pub for the fourth annual Hooligan's Ball.
It was a party with a purpose.
"It gets pretty rowdy. We have the green dye and people are already dipping their hands and fingers and wiping it on their faces", said the pub's owner, Matt Lemond.
There's even free cab rides for folks who've indulged a bit too much.
Over at Callaghan's Irish Social Club, the party started at noon.
Folks had the Irish music going, serving up corned beef, cabbage and green beer.
