MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) One church in Midtown that saw a lot of damage was Trinity Episcopal Church.
The entire front end was blown out Christmas night due to winds from the storm. Wednesday, we got a good look at that damage.
The church rector told Local 15 News that it's going to take time, but they will rebuild.
"This is a historic building, it has gone through trials like this before. Hurricane Frederick knocked the steeple off in 1979, and it's had other damage. And just within the last two year, we've completed a million dollar renovation on the church, Bailey Norman said. "This church has been through a lot, and it's going to come back. It's going to be a lot of work, but we will be back," said Rev. Bailey Norman.
No one was inside when the storm hit.
