(MOBILE, Ala.) Jan. 7 -- Federal authorities made an arrest Tuesday in connection with a fire that occurred in November 2007.

That's when Nick's restaurant in Gulf Shores burned to the ground.

The building had been leased to Nick and Cathy Cascario, who narrowly escaped the fire.

Tuesday, Federal agents arrested and charged former Auburn University punter Tommy Lunceford Jr. with arson, obstruction of justice and intimidating law enforcement officers.

Mike Messinger of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives office in Mobile says the 62-year-old Lunceford was arrested at his home in Gulf Shores.

Authorities allege the restaurant was burned for insurance money.

Lunceford has maintained his innocence and was set for an initial appearance Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Mobile.
