(FOLEY, Ala.) Foley High School football player battling AML Leukemia may be closer to recovery.

Chris Dillon, 16, was diagnosed just over a month ago and immediately checked into Saint Jude for treatment.

His family tells us he is receiving IV chemotherapy and is in the planning stages for a bone marrow transplant.

His sister Cassidy is a perfect bone marrow match, and is set to be his donor.

Dillon played safety on Foley's football team.
