(Tallahassee, Fla.) The Florida Supreme Court will hear an appeal for the man who orchestrated an elaborate and deadly attack on a Florida couple three years ago.
Leonard Patrick Gonzalez, Jr. was sentenced to death for the murders of Byrd and Melanie Billings. Their nine special needs children were home at the time.
A group of six men broke into the Billings' home to rob the place in July 2009. The Billings were shot to death.
