(MOBILE, Ala.) - Firefighters in Mobile worked Wednesday morning to extinguish a massive fire at the Goodwill Easter Seals on Airport Boulevard, near Mobile Regional Airport.
The call went out just after 9:30 a.m.
Officials say the fire started in a shed behind the store. Those buildings are full of boxes holding toys, clothes and other goods that have been dontaed. Officials say those boxes should keep the fire smoldering for a while.
Authorities say batteries left in electronics caused the blaze.
