MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI)  A Mobile fire captain has pleaded not guilty to disorderly conduct, public intoxication and failure to obey a police officer. He was arrested during the Conde Explorers Mardi Gras parade.

Police say when Terrance Bridges was asked to clear the roadway, he began yelling and cursing at the officer.

Bridges is also the president of Conde Explorers, and says he was trying to get two children on a float.

His court date has been set for April 30.
