PENSACOLA, Fla. (WPMI) An inmate who escaped from an Escambia County work release program Thursday morning is back behind bars.
Thirty-seven-year-old Aaegiean E. Brown was working in the area of Fairfield and L Street, when he learned that he was being charged on a previous escape attempt. That's when officials say Brown, who was in handcuffs, jumped into a nearby awaiting vehicle.
Brown was found a short time later. The driver of that vehicle, Carvin Sanders, was arrested. A passenger in the vehicle was not arrested.
