Escaped Inmate Back Behind Bars

(BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala.) February 25 - An inmate who escaped while on work release from Escambia County is back behind bars.

Baldwin County Sheriff's Office officials say Jody Clarke was recaptured around 2: 30 a.m. by the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office and Foley Police Department.

Clarke was captured at a mobile home park near Magnolia Springs landfill in Summerdale. The Sheriff's Office said he disappeared from the same area last night.

He is serving time at the Atmore Community Work Center for robbery.
