Elementary School Vandalized; Officials Looking for Vandals, Answers

MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) School leaders say a total of eight classrooms in an elementary school were vandalized, and surprisingly they say nothing was stolen from the campus.

Mobile Police were notified that Spencer-Westlawn Elementary School was broken into by school board security at 12:30 Sunday afternoon.

School leaders say a window to the cafeteria was broken into, and they believe that's were the vandals got in.

No arrests have been made.

Once again another web article by Local-15 that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. You guys will never get out of the ratings cellar by hiring people that write articles like this one. Your station's news articles are used by local middle school english classes of examples about how not to write news stories. Judging by the on-air personalities I am not surprised at all.

Are you referring to last Sunday afternoon or tomorrow Sunday afternoon. A specific date would be helpful. If the incident actually occured today someone didn't proofread the copy.

"Mobile Police were notified that Spencer-Westlawn Elementary School was broken into by school board security at 12:30 Sunday afternoon." This should be worded differently. This makes it sound like the school board security broke into the school. It should be worded more like: Mobile Police were notified by school board security at 12:30 Sunday afternoon that Spencer-Westlawn Elementary School was broken into.
