(FAIRHOPE, Ala.) - Downtown Fairhope is getting into the holiday spirit this weekend.
The city held its 53rd annual Christmas Open House, complete with live entertainment and food.
It's a long standing tradition where businesses open shop to kick off the start of the Christmas season.
"Next week is Thanksgiving, and after that it's about four weeks. So, get your shopping done early so you can enjoy the holidays," said business owner Patsy Davison.
