(MOBILE, Ala.) - The suspicious disappearance of a Mobile man has police urgently asking the public for help locating him.
Police said 25-year-old Justin Hasty didn’t show up for work Monday. When his family went to his house on Caroline Street, Hasty wasn’t there and they called 911 to report him missing.
Mobile Police detectives cordoned off Hasty’s house and treated it like a crime scene. Investigators snapped photographs and dusted for prints, but would not comment on what they found inside.
Concerned friends of Hasty gathered outside his house, and told Local 15 they think “something really bad happened” to Hasty.
Neighbor Mike Davis said he would always see Hasty when he left for work in the morning.
“He leaves at 6:30, I leave at 6:45,” Davis said. “When I left this morning, his light was on and his car was still there. I thought he might have a day off work or somethin’.”
Police said the last time someone saw Hasty was Sunday.
According to Hasty’s Facebook page, he went to Murphy High School and served in the Marines.
